Five days in the forest, doing the work a book or a coach can't get you to.
The Shadow at Work retreat. Lithuania, November 2026. A small group of professionals, looking straight at what their working lives are really showing them.
THE SHADOW AT WORK EXPERIENCE
You are doing well on paper. And you know you have blind spots and unresolved things you carry into work that have not shifted.
You have read enough. You have talked to enough coaches. You understand your patterns intellectually, and you have noticed that the understanding has not changed very much. You may be standing at a threshold: a role you have outgrown, a success that did not deliver on its promise, a conflict you keep encountering in different settings, with different faces.
The recurring patterns of avoidance, conflict, fear, and ambition that run through a working life do not yield to further analysis. They are met by turning toward them, in a space deep and safe enough to do it properly.
WHAT IT IS
For five days in November, we gather in the Lithuanian forest to do the work many people avoid. We look at the workplace triggers: the difficulty you keep hitting, the boss who gets under your skin, the meeting you dread, the success that still feels hollow. We meet them as what they really are, which is mirrors pointing at what you have pushed into shadow.
This is a deeply held space, and we go deep together. We will ask you to protect the container, so no phones or laptops. The days move between group and individual work, with long meals and real rest built in rather than bolted on.
The setting is a house in a deep forest by a lake, far enough from anywhere that the outside world genuinely drops away. It’s truly magical.
WHAT YOU WILL LEAVE WITH
You will arrive carrying things from your working life that you may have been treating as problems to be managed. You will leave having met the parts of yourself that have been hidden for a long time, and that are the real issue.
The difficult situations will not have disappeared. What changes is that you stop being activated by them. You go back to the same meetings, the same relationships, the same pressures, and you meet them from a more integrated and known inner landscape.
WHO IT IS FOR
This is for professionals and leaders who are doing well on paper but know they carry unresolved things into work. It is for you if you have read enough, talked to enough coaches, and found that intellectual understanding has not moved the deeper thing. You are ready to go through something rather than around it, among peers who are serious about the same.
WHO IT IS ABSOLUTELY NOT FOR
This will not suit you if you are after a wellness break, a digital detox with good food, or a few days to feel pleasant and go home unchanged. The work here will bring you face to face with your unrealised greatness and with some of the more difficult parts of yourself.
THIS IS A RETREAT LIKE NO OTHER
Retreats for professionals tend to fall into one of two camps. Some stay in the head, with theory and tools. Others float off into spiritual language that has little to do with the realities of work. There is no cacao here, no chanting in the forest, no being told to find your most authentic self. There is also no whiteboard and no framework to take home.
We do deep-process work, in a held group, on the part of yourself and your life that you know is holding you back.
